WOMEN’S GOLF DAY

Join us on Tuesday, June 4 for Women’s Golf Day 

Join Renaissance, Charlotta Sorenstam, and Continuum Performance Center for Women’s Golf Day! Women’s Golf Day is an international community event created by women for women, and designed to encourage women and girls to enjoy golf and learn skills that last a lifetime.

Renaissance is proud to be one of the first clubs in Massachusetts to sign up as an official participant in Women’s Golf Day, and we’re excited to open up our club to the public and help to grow the game of women’s golf!

Attendees will enjoy:

  • Golf clinics and education with LPGA Champion and Solheim Cup player Charlotta Sorenstam 
  • Trunk show and silent auction of a custom, pink and white, E-Z-Go RXV golf cart (see right)
  • TRX and mobility clinics with the Continuum Performance Center team
  • Meet & Greet cocktail reception
  • Portion of all proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Research Foundation!
  • This day is for women of all ages, from Juniors to Seniors

The event is $50 per adult, and free for juniors under the age of 12.

Charlotta Sorenstam 

Charlotta turned Professional in 1994, and, in 1996, she finished second at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. In 1998, she recorded 15 top-20 finishes, including a season-best tie for second at the Friendly’s Classic, and made her first European Solheim Cup Team.

In 2000, she became the first of seven Rolex First-Time Winners when she held off Karrie Webb and her Hall of Fame sister, Annika, at the Standard Register PING, where Charlotta recorded her career-low round of 64 during the second round. She crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings following the Arch Wireless Championship.

In 2008, she retired from playing full-time on the LPGA after 11 seasons (1997-2008). Charlotta has been involved in teaching, instructing at the Annika Academy at Reunion Resort, just outside of Orlando, Fla., for more than a decade.

She currently serves as the Director of Instruction at The Sorenstam Academy located at Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club, and heads up Grow The Game initiatives for SKYiGOLF, where she is Chief Inclusion Officer and Director of Instruction.
